Today's novel way to transport a dining table

    I stopped dead in my tracks before the west bridge at canal basin harrison gardens as the oncoming cyclist was pushing his bike through the tunnel with a table balanced on the saddle. his LHS pedal also fell off. Maybe he had removed it to stop it hitting his leg?

    Anyway the whole thing was working ok. No way through which made it strange that the cyclist behind me should not stop but plough on and then realise what was happening. But nobody is perfect.

    Not sure this is up to SRD's required standards - rather vague on the type of table. If it was a snooker table then it is clearly impressive, less so for one of those cup sized side tables.

    the demographic was exactly midway between cup sized side table and full sized snooker table

    Really, what's lacking is an erudite reference to an obscure book or band, that will send us all scurrying off to ask Mr Google for help...
