Winter is officially over: I have taken the decision. If it snows tomorrow it will be all my fault.

I wore fingerless gloves on one leg of my commute yesterday, so you're a day late.

    Winter is icummen in,
    Lhude sing Goddamm.
    Raineth drop and staineth slop,
And how the wind doth ramm!
    Sing: Goddamm.

    Skiddeth bus and sloppeth us,
    An ague hath my ham.
    Freezeth river, turneth liver,
    Damn you, sing: Goddamm.

Goddamm, Goddamm, 'tis why I am, Goddamm,
    So 'gainst the winter's balm.

    Sing goddamm, damm, sing Goddamm.
    Sing goddamm, sing goddamm, DAMM.

I undertook the highly dangerous and controversial step of removing my mudguards for this mornings commute. Thus far I am dry...but the ride home remains open to a deluge regardless of the forecast.

That's one step away from lighting a barbecue. At least we know who to blame when it rains...

  10. I've been gloveless on the commute for the last couple of weeks. This is mainly down to mislaying my gloves, and not any warming in the weather. However, having got used to it now, the only reason I'm thinking of some nice new fingerless gloves is down to needing the padding over that tricky nerve in the palm.

And now I have a craving for BBQ....
