    I've been laid low since last week with sundry illnesses that are currently manifesting as an ear infection and vertigo, so hasn't been out on my bike. Am hoping to be back at it later today/tomorrow, but in the meantime we're really behind on postering, flyering and chalking.

    Can anyone help? we need:

    *postering on cycle routes this week - especially at stop signs/lights etc
    *flyering at peak hours over the weekend, and next week at peak commuting times - find a spot where cyclists have to stop - e.g. MMW/Melville Drive
    * chalking on cycle paths

    I chalked a bit of the NEPN last Saturday and will go out and do it again if the weather dries up.

  3. Are there any posters at the traffic light in the KB/Mayfield Rd/West Mains Rd corner?

    I'll see if I can put up a few laminated posters in the Inch/Gilmerton area, but can't promise as I'm off to a conference on Saturday...

    I will check my beat and get some chalking done. I expect there has been some washing away occurring over the last couple of days!

    Hi, I've just got some more posters laminated, so will put some up at KB/Mayfield Road tomorrow and at Morningside tomorrow.

    I don't have access to a laminator but I'd be happy to put some posters up (and take them down afterwards) if anyone has some. I have plenty of zip ties.

    I also have some pavement chalk so could do a bit of chalking on the bits of NEPN near me if fimm doesn't beat me to it!

    Once I am mobile again, I can get laminated posters out to people. Chalk would also be great. thanks very much.

    But those are best for people who know what POP is. Need also to get handlebar leaflets/flyers out to people who've not heard about it. if everyone handlebar flyers a few bikes as they went around town, that would be really helpful. or spend 1/2 hour at a key junction handing out flyers?

    There are now 9000 of the flyers lurking around Edinburgh, so lets hope they all bring one person to POP2016!

    Is there a preferred wording for chalking cycle paths?

    I'm alternating between 'NOON' and '12pm', sometimes putting the '.org', sometimes not, not usually bothering with 'Apr' but always putting 'SAT 23rd'.

    wingpig's advice sounds good. i've been doing 'pedal on parliament 23 april' sometimes with 'noon meadows', and sometimes #pop2016 but also planning on going back next week to add things like 'saturday' where it's been left off.

    I was thinking about doing the Haymarket cycle racks on my way home this evening; but I think it is some kind of Edinburgh Public Holiday so I might leave it to tomorrow.

    My effort on the NEPN yesterday has doubtless been removed by the rain :-(
