Apologies if this has already been posted. There's a little pop-up campaign showcasing stories from the school run (walking/cycling/scooting) this week

    http://storiesfromtheschoolrun.blogspot.co.uk/

"as well as being a bit of a celebration of active school travel, we want to get a flavour of what the school run is like for you and your kids. So please, add your story, photos, videos or own blogs on our "Stories" page for a journey during the week of the 18th to 22nd April and let's see where this takes us.

Once the week is over, we will sift through and attempt to update this pop-up blog into something tidy and logical. We are looking forward to hearing your "stories from the school run"."

#schoolrunstories is back for another year and is this week.

Mine is easy to do as nothing has changed on my route so can recycle last year's post

My eldest has tried to cycle his own bike a few times but it is a very nerve-wracking experience for me, not least from other parents' behaviour.

does 'I had a frank exchange of views this morning with a lady in 4x4 who had double-parked on the yellow zigzags on Craighall Rd while dropping her daughter off for Holy Cross school' count ?
