"We are on the right path however the manoeuvres are tricky trying to dodge the chicanes, and parked cars blocking dropped kerbs whenever it crosses a road. Also pedalling is a bit tricky, what with the wounds sustained en route when an irate dog walker set his Doberman on us"

"We are on the right path but there's a chicane on it that's not wide enough to cycle through... but that's probably a good thing, as after the chicane, a car is parked on the path, blocking any way forward..."

We're on the right path, but maybe avoid it in the winter when it might be a bit muddy. Or Spring. Or Autumn. Wet days in summer might not be great either.

But unfortunately paths are for foot traffic, when dealing with wheeled vehicles the design needs to have certain key features like forward visibility, radiussed corners, and smooth flowing routes without nuisance stopping.
