Muddy Fox founders Drew Lawson and Ari Hadjipetrou were reunited in Birmingham by the production team filming "Mountain Biking - The Untold Story". The pair haven't seen each other for 25 years: Lawson has been variously running a bar in Fuerteventura, owning an IT company and renting out properties, and Hadjipetrou – a former shipping entrepreneur – has been in and out of the bicycle industry.

I've just spent a very enjoyable hour and a bit watching this film. It was also lovely to see Geoff (later Gem) Apps again – it's been 16 years since I cycled with them at BikeRite at Wooler.

Reminded me a lot of Klunkerz, when Jacquie P was here, but less "Repack" and more "By 'eck".

    Awww no!

I had noticed that their nicely curated Flickr gallery hadn't been updated for some time, but quiet people sometimes just go a bit quieter. My bestie knew Gem and built a Cleland-alike at one time.
