    Interesting piece.
    (Not victim blaming, but lesson learning.) In the vid he clearly isn't aware of the car until it is too late. Not his fault obvs, but if that was me I would have kicked on to cross the junction before the car go there.

    This quote from the driver talking about his wife sums up the attitude of many drivers, as if manoeuvring a vehicle half way across the road to overtake a bike is a mistake rather than being by far the safest way of overtaking...
