Interesting, not actually open til tomorrow is it? So lot of sign dodging. Also three lanes of cyclists sometimes as people on the road to left of CSH. Right ar parliament there is a filter in the bike lane not there on the road causing someone to jump in from the road. Looks like it will be great. Can it be shown to crazy Pete please

I'm so envious.
According to google maps, it's approx 3m long. That's the equivalent of Meadowbank to Roseburn.
Imagine being able to ride from the Stadium to Roseburn with no close passes, no impatient drivers up your jacksy, fresh tarmac...
Well done to London for showing the rest of the UK what can - and should - be done.

How does the width compare to what's proposed at Roseburn (and, say, the current Innocent-Meadows bit.)

Jonty, here's a starter for ten.

In Paul Edie's mind it's a luxurious four-lane superhighway, stretched over a generously wide 2.5m. Thanks for the link Arellcat - makes it easier to visualise against other existing paths.

I think the London superhighway is 4.0m width, reducing to 3.0m in some locations.
