Yes, but perhaps with less enthusiasm and speed of expansion.

Will Andrew Gilligan be kept/choose to stay?

Well he's publicly committed to building active travel infrastructure as far as I'm aware. I sense his priority is more on public transport however.

Could have been worse, Goldsmith might have got in.

Funny how London mayors go by their first name, and Sadiq is no exception. (Any chance please of editing the thread title to show q rather than k?)

ADMIN EDIT - done. So easy to confuse with https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janette_Sadik-Khan (hope it's a good omen...)

His campaign started a bit lacklustre on cycling but it changed and he began to say all the right things, such as expanding the segregated superhighway network, spending more on cycling, introducing more quiet routes, regulating the times when HGVs can come into central areas. Maybe he just came to see what is obvious, that it works. I hope he keeps Gilligan who really gets it. He's got a strong public transport heritage (good) so we'll see if his good manifesto commitments on cycling are implemented.

By gif - remove traffic from Oxford Street, and keep on with the segregated lanes.
