Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.
Lately I have been getting into sea shanties.
Whilst cycling into a headwind on Saturday I found myself muttering the words to NAS - Suicide Bounce over and over again for about 30 minutes. No idea why but it did help.
During the lochrin basin to ratho canal trip I subjected the participants to Navigator by The Pogues at The BurkeNHare statue at Longstone and then The Band Played Waltzing Mathilda at the Murray Burn crossing
Ca' the Yowes is my current earworm/song of choice on the bike. Very appropriate when actually cycling near the Cluden. I tend to keep my mouth shut when anyone might hear me though
A friend of mine sings "Breaking the law, breaking the law" (Judas Priest) as he slips through the lights before they turn green (once all peds are safely out of the way).
Once or twice I've caught myself whistling while stopped at traffic lights. Recently it's been excerpts of bassoon and krumhorn melodies from Red Queen to Gryphon Three.
I let the drivers be my DJ so one junction I am on classic fm the next hardcore drum & bass.
Recently took up the harmonica. I suppose I could get one of those things to hold it in place…
"White Foxes" or "The Silicone Veil" (Susanne Sundfør).
On the way back from a brain scan last month, the most suitable was "IRM" (Charlotte Gainsbourg).
I often sing, but not always at the lights, usually it's about some bad driving I've seen:
So I'll sing, "Cos he's a red light juuumper" to the tune of Guantanamera:
