Hi all,
Quick one - been looking at getting myself a set of Spokes maps and notice the Edinburgh map from 2010 is due an update, with the update expected in Spring 2016.
Does anyone know when this is expected to be released? Don't want to be buying an old map that's out of date!
All maps are out of date before they are printed!
That aside, there have been delays due to (other) commitments of key volunteers.
I think it will appear this year, but haven't asked anyone lately.
It's been imminent for about a year. Don't hold your breath. I'm not a Spokes person/Spokesperson so maybe others will know more.
From the latest mailing*:
It is hoped that the 10th edition Spokes Edinburgh map will be out in June, but there have been a great many problems, so you will see it when you see it! It is expected to be on tear-proof and waterproof paper, and priced at £6.95. Due to the problems we have experienced this edition will not be available electronically, but we fully expect that the 11th edition will be.

From the email I received looking for POP images they've got to the point of choosing the cover design, so it should be on its way
Something is happening I know. This though will be an interim version.
Will be in the queue at bike breakfast hoping to pick up this excellent map
