    This is actually a thing?

I've been making trying to make a list of stuff myself in anticipation, but that'll save me the hassle.

It is a thing. My now-over-five got a free trip to see the pandas for a photoshoot for the previous edition.

Well i for one am grateful it exists. Possibly less so when I actually have to do the things in the book, but it's one less thing to worry about.

You might find this useful too: http://playtalkread.scot/edinburgh-lothians (30 things to do in Edinburgh before you're three)

I'm a bit confused by this one:
"25: Watching the planes taking off at Tantallon Castle"

The microlights that fly in East Lothian? Or the flight path in/out of Edinburgh Airport?

Heh, true, you might get the odd microlight. But hardly anything to/from Edinburgh airport goes over Tantallon and it would be a mere speck at >5,000 ft. Most odd. Can only assume they meant a different castle. Carlowrie Castle perhaps, beside the airport, although it doesn't give off toddler-friendly vibes.. (might be a dis-service to them)
