Anyone been to the new IAD offices?
Website says 4 racks off Morgan lane. But then that that entrance isn't being used at present, and current route is up some stairs between 2 buildings.
Any advice as to where I should actually attempt to park?
Openstreetmap says there are a bunch of bike racks accessed from St John Street. I've no idea what they're like in actuality.
Yes, think the open Quad area round in St John St may be the best bet just now. Some Sheffield racks there. There are a few "designer" racks in behind the Outreach Centre at the residence entrances, but they are horrible things - flat, deliberately rusty sheet metal bent into a Sheffield approximate shape that essentially have sharp edges to scrape your bike. Best avoided.
funny, shortly after I posted this Reggie Tricker tweeted a pic of those very racks, and I thought they might be the ones that arelcat meant.
I may just go with parking in front of the gym if the entrance is stil from the front of the building though. unless the St John street accessed ones are actually nearer the entrance to IAD? I really can't tell from the description.
