I live in Airdrie but work in Edinburgh, and often cycle in to the city from Edinburgh Park.
I tend to avoid Princes Street after a tussle with the tram lines...
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Hi
Welcome. So do you take the train to Ed Park or drive? And use quiet route 8?
Good to have another poster outwith the city. Sure you'll connect with other CCE correspondents in that area!

I do get off at Edinburgh Park then head in via Broomhouse, Gorgie Road, Fountain Park and the Cowgate.
Not exactly sure where Route 8 is, I'll get googling. :-)
A cyclist from Airdrie? We must let Wee Folding Bike know that there's "another" in North Lanarkshire!
Two of us? It's getting crowded!
Welcome, Jester. Are you a Limmy fan by any chance?
No way. I'm the only cyclist in this village.
You don't live across the road from me and have a BRG Brompton do you?
What, two folding bikes in airdrie? Next you will be saying buckfast sales have fallen?
There are more than 2 in my house but I found two shy Brompton riders in my street and one works in the mysterious east.
Actually I'm having my pieces in Princes St right now. I'm beside Thunderbird 3.
