Did not get a chance to play skittles. Shame.

I think Her Magister would have preferred a Chilli Bratwurst and pint of Tennents at the Safari Lounge, it's much handier for the palace.

She would have appreciated the retro faux-Colonial African-themed interior. Like the good old days.

@kapps, that is where Phil the Greek went. But madge is mad for sea bass and a half bottle of white wine.

The bakers in the north Norfolk town of holt had a huge cake with her coupon on it in its window yesterday

Should you ever for any reason find yourself there go to the folly tearoom in hoppers yard off bull street. Does a mean scone and clotted cream if that is your bag. I go for a cup of tea and await the leftovers as despite experience my two girls think they can eat two scones, clotted cream and strawb jam but I know they cannot.

Does this mean i can now cash in with an opportunistic ebay auction for my vintage early nineties "sheep's heid inn, edinburgh" merlot t-shirt, with the angry looking ram in the centre

or are they still selling them behind the bar

The vice is an ancient 'Record #3'. I have the same one. Solid but could do with a quick release catch.

Hope they made a better effort with the food and drink than when I went last month. Personally think it's really gone downhill over the last few years

I booked the skittles for a stag party, which they managed to double book with another group. They gave us for free by way of compensation which ultimately left more beer money.

I took my ancestors there a couple of years back. Four-hour lamb with giant cous-cous was proper food.

Giant lamb with four hour cous-cous would be a mistake.
