Our most frequent query - when will the new Edinburgh map be available?

    It is now.

"by popular request … it’s on water-resistant and tear-resistant paper"

    Probably plasticky stuff.

Excellent one of the lothain maps I have (east I think) did not like being in my back jersey pocket so the water resistant material sounds good

I was lucky enough to get my paws on one last night - Nice! I have at least two (possibly three) in a drawer in fragments.

We have at our shop from 5 tonight. Cycle Service also had on Wednesday but couldn't 'tweet' till it appeared on web. Bike Trax and EBC have too by now I think.

The paper feels a bit limp but should last longer. Also features a long list of bike shops and shows the locations of car club cars in city centre. Enterprise took an ad out.

It is the same colour as 2010 one. Chdot thought it should be different but think Spokes want continuity.

It is an interim map of course and has a limited run so far. Collectors item ;-)

It will be on St Peter's Place. The lower part of Viewforth. Expect Saturday 23rd to have an open doors morning. Mrs LB and I are still to decide on whether opening will be as old shop. Think we may be more by appointment than before. So much is done remotely that waiting about in a shop hardly makes sense now.

    Thanks Chrisfl

Just got to get the sign up but in effect we'll be there by this weekend.
    Opening times under discussion.

I was expecting the new magic paper to be a bit thicker after years of achieving waterprofosity and tear-resistance through a layer of sticky protective film on each side.
