Was going to say. Look forward to seeing when link gets sorted.
(Nobrakes might even have taken an unusual bike with him!)

The east coast of Kintyre needs a big application of energy. We ignored the NCN and took the A road last year. Was nice as well.

EDIT - Frenchy has waded in and all is revealed! Ta.

For some reason I am struggling to get images working whenever I try hence the link. What was wrong with the link Frenchy? Keen to try and get this fixed so I can add images. Working on a very spurious net connection via phone from a very beautiful spot in Kintyre.

LaidBack, you are not kidding. Today I cycled 15 miles to Tarbert over some extreme hilly terrain, loaded up the banana bags with shopping and came back the same way, 30 miles total. I massively underestimated how tiring this was going to be and how much more strength I need to get into my legs in order to do this kind of terrain on a recumbent. Last few miles I was so tired I could barely keep the bike balanced.

Also learned today that if you are going to attempt a 20% incline as a bent newbie, you better be ready for the inevitable fall. Have the grazes and bruises to prove it!

Nobrakes, your first image link referred to the Flickr mobile site, which can be notoriously unhelpful.

Photos on the main website have a 'share' option (unless disabled by the owner) that gives a BBCode chunk of text, with photo size options. Normally I select the 500 pixel option which just about fits in the width of the forum; smaller might be better.

Thanks Arellcat. Problem I have is I'm on a windows phone and I can't hit the main site without it redirecting to the mobile one, which doesn't appear to support embedding.

Arellcat seems to know more about this than me. All I did was take the "/#" out of your link. I was guessing this was a mobile/desktop site thing, and seem to be right :D

Bike free day on Arran yesterday. Lovely walk up Glen Sannox.
