I don't remember seeing anything about it but there's a lot of cones out though nothing obvious happening.

Gas main renewal project (phase 1 of 2). Phase 2 involves work between Montgomery Street and Elm Row. Full project length is 12 weeks.

Inside lane closed citybound for phase 1 of project. Brunswick Road and Brunswick Street closed at Leith Walk.

    End: 09-Sep-2016 17:00

Okay, that's quite some length of road works! I must have just missed this being set up yesterday morning.

I went up Leith Walk today as Easter Road has been full of temporary-light-delays recently. I'll go somewhere else tomorrow.

Brunswick Rd will be nice today without all the bin lorries and rat runners

  5. Despite being closed off when I passed on the bus this morning, Tesco staff had moved the barrier to let their articulated delivery lorry drive in and park up.

I suspect that the barriers will be moved aside by keen drivists just as they moved the Calton Road ones.

Cones have turned into properly joined HERAS so there'll be none of that nonsense here.

Cars were squeezing past in the single lane section last night as I went home at nearly 8. Nearly as bad as the bottom half with dozens of double parked vehicles.
