Capital Trail 2016&17

    If you are interested in riding the Capital Trail 2016 entry will open shortly. Also note the new start date, 1st October.

    It is expected that the Capital Trail will return to June next year.

    On as I type. Last event of this years Festival of Cycling.
    Organiser Markus Stitz is freshly back from a quick spin round the globe on his single speed Surly fat bike.
    If anyone has stories of how it went please post!

    2017 has return d to June. Our fietsclub tried this in the winter and phoned for cavalry after start of day 2. So hopefully June better. I get that it is to be unsupported and our gang camped but not sure why you are not allowed to pre book a bed and breakfast?

    I was musing on this event today after I noticed a Genesis Longitude chained up in Newington. Ideal ride.
