Anyone know if this street used to be called Jubilee Road? Spotted from top of 44 bus 18 Jubilee Road carved into the stone on the corner building near where the sweeps used to be.

Appears as Ardmillan Terrace on an 1876 map, when there's only a few houses there. Link: http://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/#zoom=18&lat=55.9383&lon=-3.2262&layers=72&b=3

Looks like I made up the Road bit?

Anyway is known as Jubillee Corner and has Jubilee 1887 carved in the stone

    Maybe Jubilee Crn 1887?

Found it on Google Street View: Link

Looks like it actually says "18 Jubilee 87", so the inscription is celebrating Queen Victoria's 50th Jubilee.
