The new Sick Kids Hospital is also due to open at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary site in Little France in 2017, which would be boosted significantly by the arrival of a tram line.
That is very unfortunate phrasing. Who wants to boost usage of the Sick Kids hospital?

Indeed!
Meant to mean 'would help those going there to get there more easily'.
But as there is no chance it will happen in 2017 - or probably in the next 10 years - somewhat irrelevant!
