Beyond Borders - A bike ride with Max Glaskin

    My husband has been helping out with a cycling event at Beyond Borders festival for a few years now and this year's looks interesting:

    Date: Saturday 27th August
    Time: 8:30am - 10:30am
    Join journalist and author of Cycling Science Max Glaskin on a cycle ride in the surroundings of Traquair House, taking part in some scientific experiments en route!
    * Bikes will be available to borrow on the day - please contact us or see a member of the team during the weekend.
    It's a very short route (Cardrona and back from Traquair) but the host is going to stop and explain various points of cycling science using real world situations as they go.

    (PS my husband is not Max Glaskin, but is a Tweed Valley Bike Patrol volunteer so has all the appropriate elf and safety qualifications for leading a bike ride for such an event)
