“We have real problems in Glebe Road and to put even five or ten cars down there would be too much. This is the last straw and the camel’s back is already broken.”

    Really?

Is this not just the dead end road to the old village/River Almond, so locals and a few visitors?

No attempt to reduce the amount of traffic currently using the road?

Yes. I do have sympathy, it's more than a few visitors. At weekends/bank holidays/sunny days that road is very busy with cars going to the car park.

Although, given experience elsewhere, suggesting parking permits or charging for the car park would cause equal outrage.
