Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Rugby played in rugby ground shocker!
“We believe the limited public transport in the area will result in many hundreds of cars, minibuses and buses parking in surrounding areas.”
Could the tram not be diverted to Myreside on match days? There's got to be some solution.
Back in the day I had a season ticket for Edinburgh Rugby when they played at Myreside. It was a great atmosphere on a Friday night and you felt close up to the action as you huddled in the stand with noisy visiting fans.
It was never the same when it went to Meadowbank and then Murrayfield.
It also helped that I could walk there from my old flat...
Got the leaflet in Shandon. Can't really see it being any worse than matchdays at Tynecastle when eg the streets around Harrison Park are all packed solid.
@piosad - same here, well printed leaflet "no2rugby" dropped through our letterbox this week. I agree, can't see it being any worse that matches at Tynecastle.
I'm struggling to get my head round the idea that traffic will be a problem when George Watsons, with its 2500 pupils, is just round the corner.
It's not so much the traffic, it's the parking...
I can see that there may well be parking and congestion issues but that leaflet was a total hoot. Beware the dangers of razzmatazz in your neighbourhood!

Mark Dixon of the No to Edinburgh Rugby at Myreside group, who lives close to the Watsonians ground, said: “I was extremely disappointed by the blithe reassurances provided that they will resolve all of the traffic and congestion concerns. As one of their closest neighbours, we are also very concerned with the scale and imposing nature of the proposed stands.

EDINBURGH Rugby have been given permission to erect temporary stands at their new home.
Plans for 6000-capacity stands at George Watson’s College’s Myreside ground had been controversial.
Campaigners and local residents raised concerns over possible parking problems, traffic congestion and noise.
But the city council yesterday granted planning permission.

This event was running last Friday when I passed by on my way home.
Various kinds of razzmatazz were in evidence but general traffic/parking management was fine. Police no waiting cones were out and obeyed, apart from one taxi who got a toot from another motorist for his behaviour. Nearby side roads were even blocked off with manned barriers.
In fact the experience of cycling along Myreside was vastly preferable to that available when the school runs one of its own events or indeed a "normal" day.
