After our successful morning meetings at Pete's Yard on MMW I thought I would suggest another one, next Friday 19th 8am ish? Might be utilising the indoor tables this time!

I take it no-one fancies going even earlier :) I have to be east across town and at a training day in my shirt and tie by 9 AM :(

Earlier conceivable. I need to be into work early tomorrow and intend to make the next morning meet so shall assess tomorrow morning at what time I could make it up there.

  6. What time does it open? I can get there 7.30ish pretty easily - 7ish if I'm really keen.

If it's early enough, I might be able to pop by.

730 suits me. That way I can be gone by 8. As I live within 300 yards of the place though I can really make it any time...

I'm usually facilitating a small child in the eating of rice krispies at 7.30, but could swing by and say hello to the slackers later ons.

That's an easy one to sort. Just apply the rice krispies to the small childs face (they can do this themselves) then they can eat them later.

    Okay, 7.30 it is (groan).

Er, now I think about it I *might* be in Skye next Friday. But if not I'll hopefully have time to drop by briefly before heading to Waverley.

Like Stepdoh, I'm usually feeding/dressing/dropping off small children at 7.30. Will try to pop by if there are still stragglers in PY.

"I've been in touch with the marriage registrar in Skye today"

    Er, any reason?

I know a couple who had their wedding at Flodigarry. And I've been to a wedding at the Slig with an outdoor ceremony at the head of Loch Slapin.

  17. Well, yes, er, to get married there next year... ;)

We go every year, rent a wee cottage, have a fabulous time. We got engaged there this year, so figured we might as well go back for a teeny ceremony there next year. Getting an Approved Venue Application in so we can do it in the garden of a cottage we're planning to rent with a loch view (or inside if the weather is awful - though we're normally astoundingly lucky with Skye).

That fateful day earlier this year: http://www.blipfoto.com/view.php?id=595104&month=5&year=2010

@anth I'm not sure how well they travel but I believe licensed humanist celebrants can perform officially-binding ceremonies pretty much anywhere in Scotland without need for venue-licensing.

    Small is good for weddings.

Including us there were 9 people at ours. Then we went Di Maggio's for pizza.

Di Maggios - good for pizzas but bad if you are the manager - high risk of turning ionto a Taggart episode

    You're supposed to wash buffs?

    I'll hopefully be there tomorrow.

    Ah cool.

"I've washed my buff especially. "

    I should think so too.

(Does this mean I have to wash mine?)

OK, so there are new rules?

    1) No coffee unless you wear a buff

    2) People with unwashed buffs must sit outside

We need to be in the buff?

    Having second thoughts...

"We need to be in the buff?"

    Could make that rule 3.

    (There is a precedent)

I've lost my buff, but haven't looked for it yet as it's still insufficiently cold to require such an item.

No no. In a buff not the buff.

    Too cold. ;-)
