I was too embarrassed to mention it on Sunday as I only had 6 points from day 1.

actually not quite sure where Bill came from as he was not in the league until today, at least that is how it appeared to me? Well that was how it looked from the occasions I logged on? Though I thought it odd that all the other SRD clan were there without him. Also when the race started there were far fewer of us. So I am guessing you can register your team in the competition and then join leagues as it goes on?
Sour grapes I know as knocked me from my podium place. . Any way brilliant that Cummings won the actual thing.

its a problem with velogames rules i think, as there's nothing to stop you registering a bunch of different team combos at the start of the competition under different names, then swooping in and joining/winning a league at the last stage, choosing your best team.
you should really be showing your hand to to your league competitors early doors so everyone knows what's what !

My fault. MrSRD, as he is also known, had actually set up a CCE league, at almost the same second as Paddy Irish posted about 'CCE breakaway'. And then we had a crazy week, and he didn't get around to registering his team on our league. So there was another CCE league, with one one team (which he also 'won'...)
Although he may have been inspired to join when he realised he had all the top GC contenders on his team...
I'm with Gembo - just thrilled Stevo got it.
