    Terrible. I see that the police are interested in any dashcam footage that may be relevant.

    I expect companies such as ASDA to provide good training in safe driving but sharing the road with their home delivery trucks does not bear that out. Was really dismayed to see a Sainsbury artic with a full-size warning on the rear to the effect that "cyclists, do not pass on the inside, beware today to live tomorrow" - shocking imo although I've not done anything about it.

    Very sad. And we've all been on rural A roads at some point on our cycle trips - hard to avoid doing short sections on them at least.

    Agree about the message on the back of Sainsbury's lorries - classic victim blaming. It should instead read:

    "Drivers, alert today, not responsible for a grieving family tomorrow"

    edd1e_h that bit of the A82 isn't a rural A road, it is an urban dual carriageway. I've driven it a few times and get overtaken while doing the speed limit...
