I don't think the Brompton I have borrowed has folding pedals It does not seem very held together but I am not an expert. Also wee wheels to roll it or bigger ones? Any advice welcome. The forum record is 7.49 seconds

Presume you mean the wheels on the rack? Presume big ones handier for anything less smooth than train station concourses.
Brompton's usually have one folding pedal.

Hope it is dry. I think might go for unfolded then folded within three mins to enter prize draw to avoid wee fingers getting crushed.

The folding pedal was an extra in the '90s.
The council bike has the clip to hold it all together on wrong side of front axle. What do you clip that clip to?
Meant if we were tight with the handlebars the whole thing swung, so we went loose on both sides which worked.

I convinced Joanna cherry MP to try the electric bike she is getting one. Also sang smooth operator by Sade to her when she was on the smooth making bike. The other half of the bike is going to Africa

There was a smoothies maker at Gorgie Farm Fest today but I didn't get to ride. Spent the whole time playing capoeira.
There was a vibravelo at Doune the Rabbit Hole festival last month: one person cycles to generate power for the next person to wield "vibrating back massagers" and the third sat in a seat being gently pulsated through back and shoulders.
We didn't see if autovibravelo was possible. But anything if it rains at a festival.
The left hand side of the front axle should have a hook which fits over the chain stay when folded.
The right hand side on the top of the fork crown should have Mickey Mouse ears which grab a wee nubbin on the steerer tube.
You don't need a clip to hold it folded. The seat pin falls down through the frame and butts against the stop disk on the end of the back brake bolt and that holds it locked in place when folded. That's part of the cleverness.
No Sade here, this week I have mostly been playing Embarrassment and last weekend I got the music for The Sun and the Rain which has 12/8 time and triplets against two notes on the left hand.
Are we done yet? No, the first of the triplets is tied to a previous quaver.

Yup, I think the hook is on the wrong side we got the Mickey Mouse ears. Prince buster dead? I heard Pauline Black on radio talking about him yesterday.
Hook really should be on the left. It's part of the mudguard stay but it might not always have been like that and there is a stand alone hook available for models with no mudguard.
When the main tube clamp is undone the front part swings back and the hook fits over the upturned bottom of the right chain stay.
