I'll be chairing a talk as part of this at Abbeyhill Primary on Sunday (11am) with artist Monika Szidlowska. (See events at web site above).
If you are visiting the Colony of Artists by bike, parking is a bit of an issue. Main sites would be the railings of the former TSB branch on London Road, more railings opposite near Eastside Bikes, guard rail outside the Launderette or Primary School. Otherwise towards Easter Road there are Sheffield stands outside the former post office (now a flower arranging school!), or at the top of Easter Road itself (outside Iceland).
In practice for a brief visit, most house owners won't mind if you lock bikes to themselves/together on the pavement outside their homes. Of course this is not very secure, but there will be lots of folk around over the weaken so should be okay.

Colony of Artists was very popular today: good weather helps. Noticed a few bikes locked to railings that are not normally around, so folk are coming from further afield.
Second and final day tomorrow (Sunday): lots to see!
