This evening I was cycling along the canal tow path towards Fountainbridge, and encountered two people sitting leaning against the fence on my left and their legs stretched out right into the middle of the towpath.
Naturally they were wearing dark clothing so despite my lights I didn't spot them until the last moment.
They didn't move their legs even though I was within a couple of metres of them.
Not sure if they were confident I would spot them and avoid (I did, but only just), or whether they intended mischief (albeit painful mischief if their legs got run over!).
