Spotted several tour buses to night painted green white and gold. As in the old Glasgow corporation colours before Strathclyde passenger transport executive went tangerine.

Lothian have just taken delivery of a number of new hybrid buses for the tour routes, in a variety of colours for the various tour brands. Some are gold and green, branded as the "City Tour", e.g. https://flic.kr/p/MjiUAS

    Will they drive any better?

The green and gold one in grassmarket last night let me overtake it as it was indicating to leave the stop, the way Lothian buses do. I remarked to myself, that was good. Kaputnik suggesting it was a Lothian bus so that would explain it.

Lothian buses very variable. Often get a close-tail followed by punishment-pass in the newly-single-carriageway Leith Walk at the moment. Number 14 this morning a prime example.

never had that Dougal, only ever exemplary since they introduced the let the cyclist pass rule. Well maybe once. I also will stop and let them out at times as I think the pass is not helpful to anyone, not even me, sometimes.
