And even that lovely photo elicits a comment about illegal cyclists. Looks like a bike path to me, anyway.
Might be wrong but I think that EEN commenter posts those with tongue in cheek? I've seen a few random non-cycling related stories where they've posted similar comments blaming cyclists for whatever the story's about.

I assumed it was ironic. The word 'terrorism' gave it away.
Two of the comments have been removed, leaving one which is about the spelling of 'colourful'.
