CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.
Is that the sort of strong public consultation used for roseburn or the your they used for the James centre?
They should be abolishing of changing the TRO process as part of this rather than adding more layers of consultation.
So it's not even a shared aspiration any more, just a shared vision.
I mean, I have a vision of world peace, socialism for the poor instead of the rich, and restoring our environment so that nature can flourish. But, y'know...
Key achievements already delivered
Transport Scotland funded non-motorised user infrastructure is being delivered as part of projects including A9.....
I was a motorised user of the A9 yesterday. Decent weather, school hols and nobody on the infrastructure in question. Why would anyone go near it? It's horrible.
Transport Scotland will work with delivery partners and other Scottish Government policy areas including Health, Education, and Housing to identify joint opportunities to fund better infrastructure and facilities for walking and cycling.
Key question: do they work with health and housing when they plan their dual carriageways?
Sustrans will open a dialogue with Scottish Futures Trust around coordination of funding, and where opportunities are found, evaluation of the impact.
OK I think we're done here.
