Think you should let him stay though - even if it does break the gender balance! ;-)

Maybe another female forumer will turn up? LizF, Min ?

A good turnout. Only 1 wobbly cyclist headed off at the end, the rest more sensibly on foot/bus (even if it meant they would be home at least 3 times slower than those on 2 wheels).

An oddly high number of taxis and pavement/double yellow parkers in the Cowgate for a nominally traffic-free zone.

For next CCE beers, if we can get 20 people in the back room (they call it a snug, but I don't think a space that takes 20 people really qualifies as a snug!) then we get free bar snacks.

Sorry to miss this, sounds like went well. The cowgate was mental to cycle Thursday night aftermy work night out.

With the bar room bar snacks rule, it used to say more than twenty - free snacks.big argument if twenty turn up and ask for snacks.?

Nice to meet or reacquaint myself with my fellow attendees. Diggers turns out to be a friend's local so if we did end up in a no snacks/20 dilemna, I could try to call on him for backup. He's a lapsed cyclist. That's three nights out in a row! I'll be taking it particularly easy this evening.

Good chat, great to see/meet everyone. Mysterious headache this morning which I am blaming on the tea and toast I had after I got home - clearly I've developed an allergy.

Yes, nice to meet people. I also have a bit of a sore head. Think I drank my beer too fast because of my cough. That's my excuse anyway.

Only if we can increase our group size!

ETA: Diggers is dog friendly. Do dogs count towards the headcount for snacks I wonder? In no way looking for an excuse to borrow dogs...

I don't mind paying for snacks, but it would be nice to have the snug.

I'd be delighted if The Diggers became a regular watering-hole. It's a nice pub, they have decent beer (from memory) and it's near where I live.

I was really sorry to miss Saturday's meet up as I would have loved to celebrate the Roseburn-Leith decision with the like-minded.

Should also put in a word for the Roseburn Bar which is a nice pub, also has decent beer, a snug & it's (very) near where I live. There are some bike racks across the road in front of Tesco's. Also support trade in Roseburn - though the pub is hardly struggling.

However less central than the Diggers.

I'm happy with either (snug especially!). If someone wants to suggest a future social event..?!
