So Johnston Press has today been publishing an very good investigation into driver sentencing following road deaths:

    http://www.johnstonpress.co.uk/media/product-news/jp-launches-investigations-unit-deliver-hard-hitting-news

It's the headline item in i and every JP local paper website I'm aware of, except one. Can you guess which?

Yep, EEN chooses to go with class hate (sort of) at Holy Corner Tesco and frothing folderol about the Waverley taxi rank (why exactly do the editors feel they must be the taxi drivers' mouthpiece of choice?)

I had to use the EEN search function to actually find their 'contribution':

I haven't seen a print version to check, but why the lack of prominence online to a company-wide initiative?
Anything to do with the s-c-u-m who habitually infect its comments section (including the link above) perhaps?

It's on the front page of the print edition with a double page spread inside.

Good - thanks for confirming Stickman. I actually suspected it would be, given the prominence in other JP publications. It's the online difference that's puzzling. Or not really.

It's one of the top articles on the mobile version of the EEN site as well. Haven't seen the desktop version.

Just a reminder that the death of Douglas Brown led to a memorial/protest event involving quite a few CCEers.
