This is horrible, but I do hope when I'm 79 I'm still cycling home from the pub (I'm just guessing that's what he's doing just after 11 on a Saturday night)

Amazing he is still alive, to be honest - the traffic on that stretch is incredibly fast, I dont like riding it in the daylight.
Might turn out that he was very very lucky.
Lets hope the driver is caught, despicable behaviour.

Nice of the police to suggest in advance a possible line of defence for the driver.
