As I am rerouted from my usual commute thanks to a ridiculous multiplicity of road works/closures/towpath closures etc., I am really noticing the utterly appalling state of the roads in SW Edinburgh. Trying to navigate safe passage and find a reasonable road surface in the dark is a ruddy nightmare. I was complaining to a friend who commented that when she recently completed a LEJOG, Edinburgh was hands down the WORST place they cycled in the entire UK for road surfaces. Come back towpath, all is forgiven. Unless of course they've churned that up too.

Yes, my bike discovered some massive ones coming down Polwarth Terrace last night. Will need to take some time to stop and figure out where exactly they are so I can add them to fixmystreet.
