A flock of 8 la favorita delivery cinquecentos parked on cluny drive this morning. That is a lot of pizza for breakfast.

The Crollas (owners of La Favorita) have a unit at the end of Edina Place in Leith where they store stuff. Amusingly, there's a hand-written sign on the gates telling people not to park there and obstruct the gates or the police will be called.
Pot, meet pizza stone.

I also saw the Favorita flock up there at the weekend. I'm told there are some Crolla casas in the vicinity. I'll resist the urge to say I've never seen so many of the Yellow Perils legally parked before...

They parked a line of these in the short stay bays on Porty High Street one evening. Next morning, residents went ballistic in that way that Porty residents do. They haven't done it since.

Well to be fair the residents should have been riding their bicycles , someone cannot carry pizza on a bike so well. Also in less silly way delivery drivers may reduce total traffic as they deliver many meals at once if everyone drove be more traffic

In ye olden days pizzas were delivered by moped. A big insulated box on the back carried multiple pizzas. I think Pizza Hut still do this? Presumably a bike would work just as well but cause less pollution.....easy to park too.
EDIT: Domino Pizza in China:
Or Portlandia style pizza delivery:

Plus, La Favorita drivers are likely to kill anyone in their path so fewer people = less congestion.

Marchmont Takeaway is trialing deliveries by pedal cycle. I was in last week and the young chap came in with a Deliveroo-like box on his back.
As the owner said to me, it's an environmentally friendly way to do it.
Can't understand why more don't do it, must be cheaper than mopeds/cars.
