Good to see @neddie and two other Circe tandem owners at the Banzai event. Weather was kind and had a look in at 3.30 just as CM were arriving.

@hartscyclery appeared too and had a shot of his CaGo cargobike.
Cycling Gardener had a bit of interest.

When searching for Cargo bike online I found that Auto Trader has bike section. Probably old news now.

    Meant to add...

Cargobike Library for Bruntsfield is good iniative to let people see what's possibe. Early days - just two models at moment to get going - a Tern Quick Haul and R&M Packster. They're hoping to get more storage space in future.

Bookings from 4th November via banzaiedinburgh.org.uk

@Bakky Yes great video summarising the proven advantages of Cargobikes vs Vans.

      • 98% reduction in CO2 versus diesel van Twice the delivery rate of a small? van (Running a Bullet with a Carla trailer or similar)
      • 10 times cheaper on vehicle cost
      • 98% reduction in CO2 versus diesel van
      • 96% reduction in CO2 versus E-van (due to manufacturing??)
      • Av e-cargo speed in Brussels = 16kph
      • Av van speed around 11.5kph

These tie in with stats of our own pioneering e-cargo outfit FarrOut. Sadly no more after working throughout lockdown and being a regular spot on city. May start a thread on this. They currently have some bikes looking for a home. Pm if you can help.
Zedify continue of course with mainly trikes and a couple of UA flatbeds.
