David: The most common problem is punctures, usually due to worn out tyres or not enough air in the inner tube. It’s important to keep tyres at the right pressure; it helps to prevent punctures & makes riding a lot easier and more fun.

Q: What’s your top tip for keeping your bike in good condition?

David: Keep it clean! Most issues are down to dirt building up on the moving parts, which will wear down your components a lot quicker. We have workshops in Here East where we teach people how to clean their bikes.
