Route to lass wade high

    I need to go from Waverley to lass wade high, what is best route? Using Tricross, Souped up tourer. Estimate of time too pls

    Causewayside/Mayfield Road are much of a muchness.

    You have three main options for crossing the bypass:

    Lasswade Road is the most direct, but scariest.

    Shared use path past Dobbie's, then through Eskbank and onto the off-road path to Lasswade is the least direct, but least scary.

    Taking the Gilmerton-Loanhead path, then Wadingburn Road to Lasswade is the middle option.

    40-60 minutes depending on route/load/legs etc.

    Thanks Frenchy I am thinking middle option though middle of day so scariest might be ok
