Hi -Asking if anyone knows if Livingstone north pathway from station to starlaw park is still doable by bike- I did it last year just asking if any physical changes I should know about many thanks.

Do you mean the path alongside the railway? Yes, that path is tarmac. It doesn't get gritted though, so I avoid it when it is icy. There's also a fair amount of leaf litter on it in places at the moment.

No changes in the past year. (I work in that general area and run out past Starlaw Park sometimes.)

When you arrive from Edin- I think you have cross the bridge to get to the pathway by the grand central building and it leads to starlaw park - there are two paths - thanks it has been a while so I wasn't sure if their were any issues thanks

  4. There is a path on the North and South side of the line from the station. You can take either one going west and there is a crossing further along where the path switches to North only.

Just thought of one thing that may have changed since you were last here: once you've gone past the point mentioned by galaxy where the path is on the north side only, there's a part where the path comes out through a housing estate - except the houses there are slowly being pulled down, so it may look a bit different to what you expect. The path (rather narrow at that point) is still there though.
