    Message from a friend of mine, Ros Gasson, on the PoP FaceBook page. Thought some non-FB people here might be interested. She's asking for an indication of numbers, so if you might go, maybe let me know here and I'll pass a count on (or encourage her to join CCE - not sure that she's already a member)

    ==============

    My brother Paul has been heavily involved in making Walthamstow's Mini Holland scheme a reality. The project aims to improve streets and public spaces for everyone. Installation of the infrastructure is well under way, and it's already having quite an impact on the local area, with significant reduction in traffic, improved traffic flow on the main through routes, and changes to the way the community uses its public space.

    I've arranged for Paul to come to Edinburgh to give a short presentation on how they made it happen, and the impact it's already having on their community. Here's the details for his talk:

    Sunday 29th January 7.30-9.30pm (doors open from 7.15)
    at The White Hall, Tribe Porty, 19 Windsor Place, Portobello, Edinburgh EH15 2AJ

    There will be a chance for a Q&A session afterwards.

    If you could let me know if you'd like to come along (tag me in the comments), that would be helpful, so we have a rough idea of numbers.
