Bike vandalism alert

    I stupidly left my bike on the path between Lidl and the telfer subway/western approach this evening. Normally after dark I'd use the racks near the shop, but I was only going to be a few minutes, and there were lots of folk going to and fro.

    UnfortunAtely, also a crowd of 10-15 teenage ne'er-do-wells who thought it was 'funny' to cut through my cables.

    Luckily for me, all they cut were the cables for the lumos l/r signals (which are optional anyway - the main control is wireless). Could have been worse.

    My fault really - I ought to know better.

    I don't think it's unreasonable to expect folk not to vandalise stuff left alone for a few minutes (i.e. really not your fault!) - but, argh, how annoying.

    Damn :( I forgot to post a spot of you on Wednesday evening (I think), turning left off NMW towards the crossing at the west of the Meadows - your helmet was handily indicating to make people aware of this.
