I am told that there was an aggressive man just to at the east end of the innocent tunnel this morning shouting at people on bikes and trying to knock them off - bit late to be warning people I know, but it has been reported to the police so if anyone else witnessed it, would be worth also reporting.

Yesterday, there was a chap with an axe to grind who shouted at me and the two cyclists ahead of me on the NEPN at Craigleith for cycling too fast past some children.

I also think that cyclists are sometimes a bit fast passing young children on the NEPN but it was just after the junction and we were doing about 7mph (I had travelled just few meters after stopping to give way to the other cyclists). The children were well over to the side of the path and I would have had no problem about other cyclists passing my children in the same manner.

davidsonsdave, it wasn't a guy with a stocky dog of some description was it? I passed him as he was having a go at some other folk on bikes.

As it happens, I got some hilarious commentary from three kids just after I passed him.

@himupstairs - yes that's the one. One of those situations where you know there was no point in engaging with him, which none of us did.
