A friend of mine had all of thier bikes stolen in a very professional manner. Watch out!

Do youhave any further details - e.g. from a stairwell / garage / shed / locked / unlocked?

did any of the bikes have drop handlebar? If drop handlebars are nicked then it is unlikely to be someone who will be selling them round the back of The Gunner in Muirhouse (under no circumstances should your mate go there looking for his/her bikes). Drop handlebars have no resale value in Muirhouse so are not taken by your run of the mill thief.

They were all chained in a private garden to a sheffield stand. tucked away and not in plain sight. Owner things it must have been scoped out beforehand then some one came back with a van and some heavy cutting equipment.

Am this very moment considering where to put my suspended storage... The flat is wee and very full already.
