Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

road space is shared between cyclists and cars
are they self-driving already, then?
May create a perception of a narrower road like ratho station
"Sections of roads in Inverness are being painted green in an effort to improve safety."
Now we know how little effort is required before you can get in the media for your effort.
A quite serious question - is there any evidence that this stuff results in harm reduction?
The only possible safety benefit I can see for "paint" is it gives (the more observant) motorist a clue that there might be cyclists present.
Mostly, though, it just encourages cyclists to ride in the worst possible (i.e. least safe) position.
"Highland Council said the green areas highlighted the fact that the road space was shared between cyclists and cars.
"
Presumably they will be back later to paint the rest of the space which is shared between bikes and drivers? Hint for them this excludes the pavement.
