LET'S SEND A CLEAR MESSAGE TO LOCHEND RESIDENTS - NO MORE REFERENDUMS.

I'm surprised people would think of driving to a match. Albion Road is basically inaccessible by bike when the match crowd are passing through.

I'm with the residents on this one. The problem is not the fans on foot before or after a match, it's the parked cars while the match is on. Was walking home that way with my daughter (7) on a match day recently and the entire pavement on Lochend Butterfly Way was parked on by rows of cars. The pavement is nice and wide, so the cars just went onto the whole thing. We could not get past on the tiny gap left between cars and wall and had to walk in the road.

There's also a problem with hundreds of cars all leaving the match at the same time, trying to get away as quickly as possible to wherever: makes the roads in the east of the city more hazardous than normal for a weekend as lots of rat running going on to beat traffic lights and queues.
