As far as I can tell, Sustrans gives Aberdeen council £200k to repair a wall alongside part of NCN 1. The wall, it turns out, belongs to the convener of the council's finance committee. He verbally approves the start of work with council officers, but nothing seems to have gone through the proper channels. Work on the wall has now been halted.
