    Looks like 26th

    Plan for elsewhere(?)

    Outdoors?

    Canal?

    If fine?

Of course the best thing about PY is the table -

No idea if this is remotely suitable, but it's new and opens at 7:30

happy to try somewhere new - not overly enamored with PY of recent.

Went for a recce to HoneyComb earlier:
    - lots of bike parking.
    - nice part of the World.
    - nice, shiny interior.
    - tables to fit 10 ok.

Drinks menu below - similar pricing to NY.

I shall swing by not-PY. Mind you, what are we coming to when artisan coffee is almost cheaper than fruit juice?

Do they do decaf coffee? I've pretty much stopped drinking caffeine.

Ditto. I've not found anywhere, including France, that doesn't do decent decaff these days.

Some people hang on past nine.

(That's PY, but similar should apply.)

Are we going to Bruntsfield or the barge? It's to be a scorcher of a morning.

Quite strange to think that this might be the single bike/model owned by more CCEers than any other!

Last time I saw that primrose Elephant Bike, it had no front basket. I'm impressed that its owner goes to the trouble of adding and removing the basket. I can't be bothered, and just put up with the extra weight.

Met Arellcat on Bruntsfield riding an Elephant Bike on way back from not PY. Had a wee shot. Quite nice - but lowest gear seemed bit high. 39" according to sources.
I would say the Circe Helios was a common bike for forumers.
+++ NOTE - have a used Helios for sale +++

I'm impressed that its owner goes to the trouble of adding and removing the basket.

The owner was still doing shakedown runs at that time, and has quickly found that having the basket is much more useful than not having it. The owner now can't be bothered to remove it, and perversely enjoys puts up with the extra weight.
